2017 Double brood colonies Milton Keynes SOLD
I have up to 10 hives all on double brood first year mated queens last year all marked. Very good bees gentle. I m selling for a friends family of the late Ken Gorman a well known keeper of some 50 plus years.
The price is £275 for each double brood - boxes included. (£25 in advance £250 on collection)

2017 National and Top Bar hive - beekeeper giving up Milton Keynes
National Hive, Milton Keynes
Due my anaphylaxis getting worse (think full John Merrick) and lack of time due to a new job, I am sadly giving up beekeeping.
One national hive, with brood body, super, crown board, floor and roof.
Galvanised metal roof repainted last year. Spare super and excluder.
The hive swarmed last year so should have 2016 queens (unmarked). The hive was not harvested last autumn due to lack of time last year, there could well be some cross combing in the hive which will need to be sorted, hence the lower price.
Ready to be strapped up and moved from Milton Keynes.
£200.00 (£25 payment in advance and £175 on collection)

2017 Top Bar Hive, Milton Keynes

One home made Top bar hive based on Chandlers design, with a wooden roof and a steel roof cover.
Mesh floor and removable legs for transport.
The unmarked queen should be a 2015, as it was a swarm caught from one of my other hives.

They are on 5 frames (BS National Hoffman style) in correx nuc boxes. Both are 2015 queen - and are marked with the respective year colour (Blue).
Suggest inspection on Day 1 (in good weather) and collection on day 2.
