2021 Large colony
We have a very strong overwintered hive for sale on the Wirral.
it is on 2 full brood boxes drawing out the third, (so 3 brood high)
heavy full of stores, brood in all stages. I inspected them a month ago,
they are ready to split.
The hive itself was bought last year new (paynes national polyhive) and
the colony was last years natural swarm. He ran the hive like a warré/ rose hive.
Reason for sale is that the council changed the allotment regulations
and limited the number of hives to 2.
