Well behaved bees that can be opened without smoking when weather is fine.
This is a surplus set following swarm management and I now need the hive available for another split ASAP.
The only option i am offering is that I deliver the bees to your site and transfer them to your hive.
That way is easiest and you get all the bees.
The bees are currently in the Meanwood area of Leeds so you need to be at least the usual minimum distance from there so they don't return to my site.
Delivery will cost £0.25 per mile for the return journey which we will agree before delivery, using an estimate of mileage from Google maps.

To make exchange as straightforward as possible, the only option I am offering is for me to deliver the bees. That way I can close up the hive the evening before, and you get all the bees delivered to your site. Bees are located in Meanwood, Leeds in case the 3-mile rule is a concern at all.
I will charge £0.35 per mile for the return journey.
We will agree the delivery cost in advance using distances obtained from Google Maps.
I live in North West Leeds.
I can delivery in the West Yorkshire/North Yorkshire/East Lancs area.
I can deliver both sets in one journey for anyone wanting both sets.
You will need an empty hive at your site for me to transfer the frames into on delivery.
The comparatively low cost for these sets of bees reflects the need for a quick sale to free up the hives.

Two nice colonies for sale, one full colony currently on brood and a half National frames and the other in a 5 frame NUC Box with a 6 frame NUC Super on top.
(The NUC is ready to be transferred into a full size hive.)
The full colony (Buckfast 2nd Gen Queen) was successfully examined by the Regional Bee Inspector last September & has already produced 20lbs of honey.
The NUC is a ‘split’ from the parent (Buckfast) of the above full colony.
