2017 Large nuc of black bees Inverness SOLD
I have one very strong nuc of Highland Black Honeybees ready for sale. The bees were captured
from a large swarm from my one of my own hives, with a 2016 queen. Due to the size of swarm I have had to
house the bees in a Paynes poly nuc box with six DN4 national brood frames plus a shallow nuc box super with
six SN1 frames. Queen is laying well in both brood chamber and super which are both full now, with the bees ready to
be re-housed in a full sized hive (I suggest using a brood box and a half).

The honeybees are up and running settled colonies. I have been working for four years with these well tempered black and buckfast bees that had been personally visited by the Chief Inspector. My stock is on good health, they have been treated with Apivar/Apistan on alternative seasons. Colonies were split when showed signs of swarming and reunited in September to overwinter large colonies. Queens are unmarked. Bees had been reared and overwintered on their honey.
The colonies are now awakening from winter and ready to go. They come on a green polystyrene National hive complete from the commercial danish maker Swinty. Warm, dry and light to work with. They are generously supplied with one brood box and not one but x 2 supers. The hive comes with floor, roof, crown board and queen excluder. The comb has been already drawn on all these boxes, so there is no waste of time, bees are ready to harvest this year.
A colony + hive is £325 each (£25 in advance £300 on collection).
Groups of buyers with 6 hives = £1775 They will have mark down on the advance payment to £100 and a mark down to the pick up price pickup price of £125 making it £1675 on pick up
Groups of buyers with 12 hives = £3500 (£200 advance payment) and a pick up price of £3300.
These are buyer collection prices. You are welcome to collect 24/7
Delivery may be available depending on how many hives and when you want them delivered. Minimum price is fuel cost. If I have to sleep away from home this cost will be covered by the buyer. Additional man/hour charge may apply for far away deliveries.

2016 Overwintered NUC's SOLD
We sell Overwintered NUC's for our customers to purchase. You can purchase from 1 to 20 of these NUC's.
The NUC's themselves consist of 6 frames of bees with brood at various staged of development & a queen from 2015.
The box is a poly NUC & contains a feeding chamber for transport.
The Poly NUC is not included in the price and we ask our customers to either return the
NUC or purchase one from us. (We do ask for a deposit for the NUC in case of non return)
The Overwintered NUC will be ready for pickup by the end of March 2016 (however this
may be changed depending on weather conditions which effect the bees.)
Price is £170 (£20 in advance) £150 on pick up + £35 poly nuc box deposit

2015 Beekeeper after 40 years is selling up his hives and equipment
due to failing health. SOLD
Currently there are ten colonies in national hives (mostly new queens) + two five
frame nucs with 2015 laying queens. There several other queens in small boxes some
laying and some not yet.
All hives on stands. All solid floors. Roughly 20 supers - many still on with honey in them.
Related equipment, 4 frame extractor, settling tank, jars, lids, warning cabinet and bits and bobs
